Human Engineer, i love the steampunk feel of Tyria and I think it fits the game very well in terms of technological advancements of the past 250 years. Humans, well were all human in the first game and i really want to see how the race fleshes out. If i had to choose one of the other 4; deffinately Charr for the sheer awsomeness of being a bipedal lion swinging around a rifle.

I am going to be a Sylvari Guardian. Why Sylvari? Because they seem like a really unique and complex race. I like their lore and I look forward to tweaking my plant-person to the max, haha. Why Guardian? Well, honestly, I'm not entirely 100% on the Guardian, but it's most likely what I'll become, because I enjoy playing the most hybrid of classes, as well as supporting my allies and being an important factor on the battlefield.

Asura Elementalist, hands down. I love the concept of a multielemental caster, plus the versatility and number of skills an elementalist can use makes it my number one choice. Asura because I love the animations and art associated with them, and they seem to have a deep, well thought out culture and lore. The animations for Asura even make them feel like a race of small beings that are used to living in a world mostly inhabited by larger species, with their exaggerated, leaping steps and flailing jumps. The entire design of the race is very three-dimensional, multifaceted, and original. Arenanet does good work.
